HOLDING GROUND

We are so excited about this upcoming event organised by our friends at Silver Leaf Art Box. The works of 76 leading contemporary artists will come together in HOLDING GROUND, an online group exhibition fundraiser to help raise urgent funds for the Save Arthurs Seat (Wonga) campaign.
HOLDING GROUND will run from midday 23 April to 14 May and is curated by Penelope Gebhardt. It features an exciting selection of local, Melbourne and interstate artists working across mediums including sculpture, painting, drawing, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, photography, digital art and printmaking. The works are related thematically to ideas of connection, identity and the natural world.

"It is very exciting to bring art to the centre of the fight to Save Arthurs Seat, the support and generosity of the participating artists is inspiring. HOLDING GROUND aims to help shine a light on the Ross Trust's plans, and what we all stand to lose if the quarry goes ahead."
